Babcock is committed to ensuring that each graduate is mentored, trained and incentivised to use their talent to the full. Where Chartered (or equivalent) status is appropriate to a graduate’s role and career path, Babcock provides assistance and support in gaining the required qualification.

No. Graduates will start employment some time between July and October 2024, dependent upon location. Some locations have multiple start dates to ensure that group sizes remain manageable. If you would prefer to be considered for the following year’s intake, applications will open in autumn 2025. You can register your interest to be the first to hear when our applications open.

This varies from sector to sector, but we believe in the value of induction. It’s an important element in making sure people get off to the best possible start with us.

You will be assigned a buddy and a mentor. You will also be supported by your local Early Careers team.

Yes. We take a number of graduates from Science, Technology and Maths related degrees.

Due to the volume of applications we receive, we can only provide feedback on an individual basis if you’re invited to an Assessment Centre.

To avoid disappointment, we recommend you apply sooner rather than later. We work on a first come first served basis – submit your application early so you don’t miss out!

We offer information and guidance on local accommodation. Relocation assistance may be paid in exceptional circumstances where appropriate and agreed.

At the present time, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for our graduate programmes.

You will be required to go through drug and alcohol testing and some of our business units may require you to satisfy MoD security clearance.
